The way you smile
To my silly jokes
Brings joy more than a mile
And shines like a million bucks

I sat beside my window and heard a sweet chirping sound. It was from a happy lovebird singing a wonderful melody on a sunny morning. He’s not my own. He’s nobody’s pet. But he is neat and tidy as he can be. I laid my hand flat and he gladly sat in. With those soft feathers and tame eyes, he can be a comfort to a heavy burden. He has full of energy and seems playful and mischievous. He would play around the couch, explore on pillows, take bath in kitchen sink, climb on chairs, or hang around the curtains. Continue reading
Strangers we are when we first met,
A simple “Hi” or “Hello” does it.
You started out a joke,
And i returned it with a sly smile.
If people condemned you
for no reason at all,
let them despise you,
just stand tall.
If others refused
to see the real you,
let them ignore
the sea of fun and excitements with you.
Be strong and confident
in everything you do,
‘coz there’s one
who cares for you.

Vagueness swept before me,
aggravating the blindness
lurking in my once vigilant eyes.
Remember the time when you came up to me,
stinging me like a bee;
I tried not to mind
your act that is one of a kind.
Mahal kita, pero…
hindi ko maipadama;
Mahal kita, pero…
hindi ko maipakita;
Mahal kita, pero…
hindi ko masabi;
Mahal kita, pero…
may mahal ka nang iba.

Everybody thought we’re not the PERFECT match,
Somebody said we’re not MEANT for each other,
Someone whispered we’re the COMPLETE opposite,
And I don’t think you’re my IDEAL man.
It all started out as a joke
And I never mean any seriousness,
Thinking it’s better this way
Than having a real fling.
It takes little control
for this emotion
deep inside me
to keep in secrecy,
But too much
may lead to
sudden insanity.
